Leadership Team

TCR maintains a flat organization.  There are two Executive Managing Directors ("EMDs") that have overall responsibility for acquisition, development, and construction activities within their geography.  William C. MacDonald is the Executive Managing Director for the East Region and Michael A. Collins is the Executive Managing Director for the West Region.  Kenneth J. Valach is Executive Managing Director responsible for portfolio and asset management for all properties controlled by TCR.  Michael G. Melaugh is Executive Managing Director responsible for capital markets, and Mark R. Dempsey is Executive Managing Director responsible for Acquisitions and is the firm's Chief Financial Officer.  The EMDs report to Charles R. Brindell, Jr., President and Chief Executive Officer.  Our national administrative team located in Dallas directs firm-wide administration, including human resource and legal management, accounting, financial reporting, information systems, risk management and internal audit.

Divisional executives report to William C. MacDonald and Michael A. Collins and operate geographically, overseeing the territories illustrated to the right.

Three acquisition executives report to Mark Dempsey.  These individuals have primary responsibiltiy for directing the firm's acquisition and investment activity and work with divisional executives to identify appropriate investment opportunities:
